Dr Wu, is your head tight? When I first got mine I like a nice tight snare and so tightened the head really tight, at this point the rim stopped working, slacking off the head let the Rim work again... I did also take the head off and re-sat the parts, this helped a lot...

Hi welcome to the forum.

Also play about with the Gain settings and the Curve settings. You may also want to press 'More' and 'snare' and double check the settings for that element also

Cheers

HI, I can't answer for the compatability (I am assuming they will trigger, but not 100% sure). As for MIDI out, yes there is, there is no metronome on the current OS but we are assured it will appear in a future release, and there is an auxiliary in!

Hope that helps!

The map would be awesome, I am just about to get BFD2 so that would be a great help!

I think Danny got it to work? but utilising the USB on the PC and MIDI out of the brain...

It seems some people are able to play the kit during the day when I am at work. And that just isn't fair!

Seriously though, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Xmas, and thanks to everyone who uses this forum, I have learnt a lot and I hope I have helped some people out too!

Big shout out to UC for creating the forum and of course to Scottie for his tireless chasing of 2Box and other distributors across Europe!

Massive thanks and seasons greetings!

Neil

I don't get any latency through MIDI, have you lowered your buffer settings? My main reason for buying was to use with a DAW and it works perfectly over MIDI (apart from when I have some heavy plug ins on)

I know a lot of people have commented on the rack, but I think if you took 10 minutes to make sure everything was tightened etc, whenever you demo anything as they're never set up right.

Watch Simpan's video of him player, it doesn't budge an inch! Neither does mine and I am a very hard hitter (no vid though :( )....

Still you choice, but don't let the rack sway you!

They are mostly acoustic, but there are a couple of electronic 'kits' so will be a fair few electronic samples on there...

The 1.02 is on the website. That is the same as the 1.00 but with another fix...

mp3 compatability would be good and in the brochure it does say it uses wav and mp3, so must be in the pipeline...

my wishes:

Metronome
MP3 Support
Spares/Extras available...
A BRIGHT ORANGE 2BOX DRUMSTOOL!!!

I'm confused about the polycarbonate ring? What's the score there?

I was always under the impression that there would be only 6 outs and then the headphone out which would incorporate all of them. That's what I understood from the brochure?

You're right though in terms of stereo to mono etc when assigning outputs, so be careful.

Hi, mine is #202 and had 0.36 and the first release of hardware etc.

Ver 1.00 and Ver 1.02 are VAST improvements though. NOt sure about hardware as I use a Pearl HH stand and a Pearl double click.
