I've had my Drumit 3 for about a year now, but I've gradually got frustrated by the cymbal sounds and triggering. It seems impossible to do swells on the crash samples its almost as if there is too much choice of sample for the module, it's not miss hitting but not smooth. I can get thet on my back up Roland TD25 but the sounds arn't very nice. Are there ways to improve the problem or better samples that people know of?
P.S. The cymbals I am using are Jobeky.

Tried as suggested using the original card, sounded ok. This morning I turned on the Module and put the 32 gig back in all working fine!!! My only thought being that perhaps the module had a residual memory and it had to be off for a while to fully take in the revised file. I have no other ideas, still worring. P.S. yes I did toggle the ++ it was already on that setting. Thanks for your help.

General 2Box Drumit 3 Forum / Linked kits problem
July 16, 2019, 10:01:01 AM
I have a very worrying problem that has just happed. I have been building 9 kits for a Beatles band I’ve joined, they are all based on one original kit. Suddenly Tom 3 head has stopped working, rim still ok. First obviously I suspected the cable but swapping it out with others but still the same.

BUT it’s only on these 9 kits, ALL other kits Tom 3 works fine. Tom 3 doesn’t use the same sample for all the 9 kits, even if I try changing on the fly still the same. The same sound files work fine on all other kits.

I first tried reloading the sound file from my computer backup, then the kit file then the whole system and files, no difference. I’ve opened the kits on the computer 2box app, the kits work ok. So the only way I can see how to sort this is to start again. This is worrying as I have my first gig in a few weeks time, I’m nervous it’s going to let me down.

The unit has the Jman 32 conversion.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I’ve been reading this thread with interest, I see that I’m going to have to get a PC laptop to tweak the levels of the samples, I’ve only ever used Mac! My question is, what spec should I be looking at and Windows version is the most stable?

Thanks

If you email 2Box they will send you a link to the files on Dropbox, I would send you the link but I’m away without full access to the link. They took a couple of day to answer.

General 2Box Drumit 3 Forum / DrumIt OS 1.32.0
June 15, 2018, 09:06:42 AM
I've just bought a Drumit 3 second hand on EBay. I'm sure I saw someware that DrumIt OS 1.32.0 was available on the 2Box site for download, but I can't find it. I seem to have a few samples missing like Simon Philips toms?
