Many thanks Anders... I now understand even though the result is disappointing! So yes, to get my project completed it may require me getting two 2Box brains.... I think you have just doubled my required budget! :-[

Thanks for this Anders,

This is very disappointing news! I wanted to use the full number of trigger inputs and then use an additional trigger to midi device (e.g. DDrum DDTI Trigger Interface giving up to 10 extra twin triggers - https://www.thomann.de/gb/ddrum_ddti_trigger_interface.htm ) to add more pads and and cymbals etc... So correct me if I am wrong but you are saying that I will not be able to use the DDrum trigger interface to add more inputs to the 2Box Drumit and access its stored sounds?  :(

If this is the case, is there anyway around this?

Many thanks for your help!

So I am now confused :-\ Anders.... Are you saying that with a maximum of 4 internal Drumit tom sounds allocated to pad trigger inputs, you cannot trigger more internal tom sounds via (say) MIDI? Why would that be disallowed?

Thanks!

This is great news as I am making final decisions on purchasing the DrumIt 3. One of the key issues on my decision is that I need to change kit sounds in the middle of a live set number (e.g. different kit sound for a solo to the rest of the number). As some of my samples can and do include sounds other than drums and cymbals, they can be larger than normal file sizes. So for clarification, will a new/replacement large file take more than "one second" to load or not really make any difference. Also if some of the individual sample sounds are not changed (or different) from the previous to new kit load, does that 'speed up' the load process or not make any difference?

It would be useful (if possible) to demonstrate a file size to load time matrix for reference....

Many thanks!
