Thanks J.  Mine are new 14” Alesis rides (not Strike) and an Alesis 16” ride. I also have 2 pearl 12 inch crashes but they can only be single zone since their split from toms 3 and 4’s rims. I will find out if the bells are switches and will report my findings. I use muted Sabien metal hats with your stealth trigger. Just got a goedrum controller but haven’t had time to mess with it. All my drums are 2 zone Lauren’s (12”s, 2 12”t, 2 10”t, 16”b using “tennis ball” Kat beaters). Once I get everything dialed in I will post my settings.

General 2Box Drumit 3 Forum / A and B cymbal inputs
April 27, 2018, 09:57:59 PM
I have three 3 zone cymbals (two 14’s one 16) and will use 1 as a ride and 2 for crashes. They each have 2 outputs per pad  (Pearl, Simmons, Alesis types, not Rolands) and am wondering if the B inputs will work for them and that they are able to use a crash type cymbal with a bell or would they need to be rides only. Not sure if this makes sense. Thanks

IMHO it could be rf bleed thru the cable due to not enough shielding. You may have some thresholds set too low between each zone or between pads. IAW the manual (drummit5 sure its the same for the 3) threshold control range is -48 to -18. The lower you set it the higher the risk you have of double trigger impulses or crosstalk. Your -47 may be causing it. Just a thought.

Thanks, I’m new to the 2box module world and it is light years ahead of what I’m used to. Coming from a DM10 module using it thru AD2 I wanted to get away from the computer but still use the kits from AD2. I truly considered the Mimic (I know it’s best module on the market) but just could not justify the cost for my needs. When I saw that 2box had went to universal pads with the drumit3 and it could accept the 32gb sd card mod, it was a no brainer at it’s price point. So far I have no regrets.

Thank you sir, still waiting on your take on the new box. Just wish they would’ve added 2 more cymbal inputs this time instead of having to split zones. Still, I like it so far.
