The first thing I would do is contact the seller. If he says all is working then maybe he can explain. When you buy something you normally go back to the seller right away if something isn't as described. 2nd, All 2Box modules come with an original 4GB card, the factory card that is installed inside the module. Did you get that with the module or just that 32GB Card? Troubleshooting: 1st, yes you could try the card inside the module without the cable. If the card does not work directly in the module most likely you need a new card. Extender might be OK. What brand, type of card is it? You do not show the card really in your videos. The good news is that most likely it is a problem with the Card and or the cable, much cheaper than replacing the module.
Also, if you plugged that module into the computer with the USB port of the module since it has the 32GB mod ..... you probably ruined the Card ..... several people have ruined their cards that way rendering them unusable .... The reason this thread in the link below was started .... and the reason I put a Warning with all the Card Mod kits I sell:

Hi,

Hoping someone could help me with the correct wiring for the 2box Hit hat. The wiring came of during a gig and wasn't sure which one goes where? Currently after soldering the wires back, the hit hat plays only in closed position.

Thanks,
Seb
Piezo wires go to PP and PN, Switch Wires go to S2 and SN ..... Here is a HH I took the PCB out of years ago if it helps. J

I agree the site download is not very user friendly... I merged in a few of the downloads with my sound library, so I don't have them to hand easily.

It might be worth contacting JMan on here - I know he keeps an up to date compilation of all available sounds for his 32Gb conversion kit.
@JMan - i know you must spend some time compling the library of sounds and keeping it up to date. There may be some people on here that would be prepared to pay a modest fee to get a well organised library in one download without having to trawl all the various download links?
Yeah, unfortunately I just have all the files combined also. All the Di3 original card plus all the Di5 that are not already on the Di3 (about half of the Di3 are common already to the Di5 or the extra free download sounds) and extra downloadable sounds not already on the Di3 in the folders. Comes to close to 16GB .... and I can't even upload that amount of stuff to my storage site.

Just for everyone's info. All Stealth 2Box card mod kits always come with the latest 2Box OS .... so any Stealth Drumit Five Card Mod kit that has shipped since the official update release does have that new OS. I have actually been running the beta of that new OS for several months, but was not authorized to release it until it was final. J

Hi jman, I saw that the new os 1.32 came out.

I have a question, with your change, how do I upgrade?
Is it enough to copy the two files (DrumItOS1.32.0.bin and globalconfig.dcfg) to the 32 GB SD card?
Is the update done automatically or do I have to do something special?

Thanks if you can answer me

As paulf707 mentioned you can just put the two files on the card. Note that those files have to go to the Root of the card otherwise they will probably not be seen. FYI though, it is always a good idea to keep a backup of all your previous module or card before doing updates .... First thing I always do is back up the entire content of the module/card ..... That is the best practice ..... plenty of 2Box owners have found out the hard way after messing things up that it is really good to have a backup.

I have been trying to figure out where you can set the zone volumes for a 3 ride in Dkit manager. I don’t see anything for zones except the +++ or the bell gain low, med, high. I don’t see anything in DSsound tuner that has anything to do with zones either. Is the DSsound tuner the same thing as the DSsound tool that has been mentioned? I have read every user manual out there. I am guessing the DSound tool is no longer available. Need some help.
DsoundTool is dif. from DsoundTuner. I'm not sure about Lustar's Dsound Tuner, Lustar might chime in on that. But DsoundTool is what you can use to adjust the independent zone volumes of the .dsnd Once you adjust the volume to your liking you simply Save the .dsnd and the zone volumes will be adjusted as you chose. Thanks Jman,
I've had the pad apart but could not see anything suspect. What is the Hall Sensor you refer to?
It's a small rectangular part on the tip of the HH PCB, it is what detects the magnetic force that is used by the module for HH position. If you are good with soldering you could contact 2Box to see if you can get a HH PCB. Then you would simply replace that part wiring it exactly the same as the old one. Otherwise replacement of the HH is probably the way to go..... assuming you already determined the HH cable is good. The HH requires a TRS cable, even if the tip zone of the cable is good and you get sound when hitting the cymbal, if there is a problem with the Ring part of the cable HH position will not function.

Can anyone help, please. I can no longer calibrate my 2box hihat - the module no longer shows the open/closed position when calibrating and it is basically just an 'open' hi hat sound, ie can't get closed sound at all. Could this be a problem with the magnet, the pad/sensors or the module. Should I just buy a new pad or....? Thanks
The first thing to do is try a different TRS cable that you know is working. If the cable is bad it will cause that. If the cable is good there is either a broken wire or solder point inside the hat or the Hall Sensor has gone bad.

One thing I have found in general with piezo/switch pads is the rim zone is not as sensitive as on a piezo/piezo pad. Those Tru-Trac dual zone heads are what they use on the E-pro and every time I have played that kit the snare drum rim zone was total crap .... nothing like the response of a piezo/piezo pad. Maybe it was just the E-Pro module in combo with those, but I always walked away with a very negative view. I have also seen some very negative reviews from people using them with the Mimic on the Mimic Facebook groups ....

Another mesh head I have been using recently for the last couple months on my 14' Stealth snare is the GoEdrum mesh. Those are 2 ply, but they feel at least as thick as a 3 ply. They use adhesive between the 2 plys. They are absolutely bullet proof, have a very realistic (mylar like) response with no springy thing going on at all. I really like it. It is a little louder than some other mesh heads though as far as acoustic noise level.

Just changed it for my kick-drum Tru-Trac head and as you say, works perfectly well!

Difference being that the 22" mesh-head is a bit 'springy' - something that I never got with the ePro Tru-Trac kick drum.

Mesh-heads are OK but have my doubts beyond 16".
Depends on the mesh head and tightness. I use a 22" Roland on my kick, Very Tight, and love it. Perfect triggering with my own Stealth drum conversion.

There is a Trigger type PadPS in the Drumit Three for Piezo/Switch pads which is what the Tru-Trac heads are, so it should work fine for snare or toms. The Drumit Five does not support PS pads for snare or toms.

I did the factory reset, but problem with kick is still there.

Looks like kick input is dead, becouse when I connect kick to another input (snare or toms) it works, and when connect snare to kick input, nothing happens.
You need to go to the Instrument section, hit the kick and look at what instrument name it shows. If it shows an instrument name with a ? it means you are missing the instrument file. If that is the case I would suggest downloading all the current instruments and current OS files, etc. and completely renew the module. If you do a search on this forum about factory reset you will see lots of other threads where we recommended complete replacement of the files on the card. If the instrument is not missing then you need to do more troubleshooting. Also, when you tried the snare in the kick input did you use the existing kick cable? Because you also need to eliminate the cable as the problem.

Ok, I tried downloading all the files but you need a password to extract them?
It gives you the password on the site: 2box
