Ok. I have gotten to the bottom of this, sort of.

I have the jman 32gb mod done.

In the 'China' folder there are 6 china type dnsd files.

Of these, these ones work

AZ 16 China
AZ 20 China
RB 21 Holy China
Swiss L 16 China

These next 2 do not work. (ie: very very low level)
EU 16 SCF
SP Trash

Of the crashes I'll just list the ones that are not working

DnB1 Crash 1
DnB1 Crash 2
EU 14 to 18 (none of these work properly)

Could someone else with the Jman 32gb mod try some of these dsnd files and report back.
Not sure what you are experiencing, I just took one of the same cards loaded with those files plugged all the Chinas and Crashes, etc. you mention not working and they all work fine both in the Editor and the module?

I noticed in the earlier post you mentioned the "Last thing" you were going to test is just through the headphones. Personally this is the first thing I would have done. Test through headphones connected directly to the module ..... Just sayin ....  ;)

Whe playing the ride and kick simultaneously, the ride decays as though it’s being cut off. Also happens when playing the snare and ride together. Doesn’t happen with any other pads, ride rings and decays correctly. I have swapped cables, changed samples, adjusted settings etc. but to no avail. Anyone else experience this or any ideas?
You might want to turn the Crosstalk to Off for the Ride if you haven't already. I doubt that is it because normally you will just get missed hits AFAIK when it is a crosstalk issue, but it is worth a try.

Your kit looks great.
I opted out of putting my cables inside the rack. 1st, with the size of my kit I'm not sure they would all fit, LOL. 2nd and more important for me ..... I have replaced probably 6 or more cables in the last year alone. Not something I would want to do if they weren't easily accessible. I use corrugated wire channel on the inside of the rack tubing, which keeps things tidy and for the most part out of view.

Hello,i have some problems with 2box drumit 3. The problem is ,while im playing  drums sometimes the sound is disappear. And after some second there are playing many sounds that was disappear before. So what we should do with this problem?
I'd normally say to do a search because there are numerous threads about this subject, but you don't really even need to search because if you look you will see two other topics the 3rd and 4th ones in this Drumit Three Forum about the same subject. https://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,3954.0.html

You prolly should look into the Owner's Manual as there is info on how the MIDI works with the Di5. And it also has the note numbers that 2Box assigns to the various instruments on pages 14-15.

I use a Pearl ePro TruTrac head on my snare.

I have never seen a place where you can adjust the rim-shot's on Drum-It 3

I would be grateful if someone can point out here or whereabouts in the manual this is.

I just want to adjust setting for the rim-shots just as I can with the main head.

Also, what pad setting would it be for the Pearl (ePro) Tru-Trac head?

I use these TruTrac heads on my snare (and Kick) as I struggle to get a good snare drum roll on mesh, whereas the toms 'dont matter' so much.
Tru-Trac are Piezo/Switch type. So you pick PadPS for the pad type.

I just wanted to add here. A number of people that had the bad "Intenso" card have ordered my 32GB card mod kit and their modules are working great now. But I would suggest you still contact 2Box to at least have a good Original 4GB card sent to you. It is always good to have the original card. And this mod is not being advertised as any kind of "Official" repair ...... LOL .... And while my Stealth 2Box Card Mod Kit installation is the same procedure as changing the original card any mods to the module are always at own risk. Jman

I've had my D3 for about a month and it sounds brilliant. The problem I'm getting is after every few minutes of playing the sounds stop for about half a second and then all play at once. Is this a problem with the module or can I alter a setting to stop this?
Sounds like you have the Intenso SD card in your module. Already documented on the forum, a bad card that needs to be replaced. Do a search and you will find other posts about it.

Been building my own sounds using the 2Box editor, but just about to try a HiHat sound.
I understand the bow/edge and variable numbers of 'openness' samples...
But there appears to be only one slot for 'foot' - is it possible to create a DSND that contains both foot hit (closed) and a foot splash? And if so, how do we do it?
Foot Splash WAVS is all you need. The 2Box does the foot chick internally using the closed HH sound.

General 2Box Drumit 3 Forum / Re: MIDI in ?

The answer to no. 1 is: There is no additional "Percussion" MIDI group in the 2Box modules. That means for example if you are using all the inputs already for your drums and cymbals adding a MIDI device like an Alesis iO or DDTI would not work for adding more triggers/pads etc.

something else. could i just find 2 cheap real feel cymbals (cymbals with holes) (without triggers), and fit in them jman triggers to make hats and ride? would that be easier? anyone can suggest any real feel cymbals (just them no triggers), that are cheap?
I probably sell twice or 3 times as many Stealth LV type Cymbal Conversion kits compared to regular acoustic cymbal conversion kits these days. And I build the specialized 2Box style that work great with the 2Box modules. This is an LV348 set converted. And my kits work with any of the low volume cymbals. https://youtu.be/jxRKtLzHkqc
Ali Express sells sets for a decent price: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Arborea-Lage-Volume-cimbaal-set-oefenbekken-set/32923648414.html?spm=a2g0z.search0104.3.188.44703176qr0GRH&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0%2Csearchweb201602_2_10065_10068_10130_5731315_318_10890_5730315_10547_319_10546_10548_317_10545_5728815_10696_10084_10083_10618_452_5729215_10307_532_5731115_5731415_5731215_5731615_204_5732015_328_10059_10884_5731515_323_325_10887_100031_320_321_322_10103_5731715-10890%2Csearchweb201603_1%2CppcSwitch_0&algo_pvid=358119a3-ead2-4825-ae4a-17c36bccca29&algo_expid=358119a3-ead2-4825-ae4a-17c36bccca29-30

Hey,

I can open drumit.dkit in the editor, no problem at all. but when I'm trying to open other kits like warlock.dkit the error message appears.
That is different you use import single kit. Anything that is not in the original 100 kits on the card cannot just be opened in the Editor it must be imported into one of the 100 kits slots of the module. I just imported the Warlord kit to the no.1 slot and it works fine. Also, Just FYI .... Lustar's Drumit Mgr. has a lot of features that are really good for editing kits, lists, etc. I use the Editor on occasion, but also SDSE and Drumit Mgr. All have their useful features.
On another note: Once you import that kit to the top 100 and make changes to it you can save/export it again and you can keep it in the spot you imported it or, if not, make sure you exit without saving things that way.

Another nice thing about being able to navigate to your Drumit File:
I have lots of backed up Cards with different kits, configs, etc. on my PC. So I can go to the Card in the Reader if I want ..... But I can also go to any 2Box Backup I have on the PC from other cards and open those in the Editor or Drumit Mgr., etc. Since there are lots of 2Box owners that have done the Card Mod and cannot use the USB of the module to access the Editor, Drumit Mgr, etc you do not loose the option to use any programs, you just do it through the Card Reader now .... hope it helps, J
