Hi!

I like the remo silent stroke. 1 ply. Most drummers are considering to be too "jumpy"...but in my case I think they are just perfect.

I have another kit with Drum-tec Pro...and I think they are a bit more heavyer to play with and less jumpy.

Setup guides and tips / Re: Latency Solved

Great post!

I have also seen that latency is added if a pad or cymbal has the wrong trigger type settings...like using a piezo/switch trigger to a 2box channel with piezo/piezo settings etc.

Maybe not a big common problem...but for those who is switching environment often between several different drum setups.

I think you are thinking of Drumit Manager from Lustark Software. (Same vendor as for SDSE)

It has this inspection function.

Hi!

The Pintech Vizulite HH will work with Jmans solution. (Jman offers the pedal functionality which seems to be missing from Pintech solution.(to what I can read) It is just a bow/edge trigger without the pedal solution.

I tried my old 2box hihat yesterday...but after a year with my own solution for VH-11...I can just say it was not fun at all to play with original! Oops! :-) I really question if this magnetic type of solution is the best. A good trigger from Roland seems to do the trick! :-)

Hi!

I can just say according to my tests with the Zourman Drums Module (formally 42box) that a hard hit on the bow will always generate a "4" hit...and a hard hit on the edge a "8" using a Roland VH-11. So there is good separation between the bow/edge zones.

However...you should get some ok results on the 2box original HH. If not...probably the plastic list around the edge underneath the rubber have probably left it's place...

To the orginator of the post, Scott. Does the hi-hat work at all when pressing the pedal and you look on the 2box Hihat calibration screen. You will see if the pedal signal is ok when looking on the hi-hat icon if it is moving between closed/open mode on the screen.

And the error was?
#583
The only logic in this story is that you have to check the cables again. Or?

If it is not the four standard configuration make any difference...I would release all cables and do it again.

Are you using the 2box standard e-pads and cymbals? Have you memory modified your module?

Allan is very right about this. Just to give some ideas what is happening when trying to attach the USB cable on a memory modified 2box unit(this was probably not the case above):

  • from a PC...nothing will happen until you try to write to the SD card over USB...then you will end up with a FAT32 error...
  • From a MAC...it will destroy your card immediately when attaching the USB cable. Fat32 error

So beware! :-)

Hi!

Regarding the file structure, you could just place the Synth kit in a separate folder in the 2box  structure. 2box will find it and the kit will end up after the 100 defined kits. It is quite easy to store them in in folders if you want to take them out in the future etc instead of sort them into the 2box structure....much harder if you want to delete a kit.
