Is it the same regardless which hihat sound you use?

It is a bit hard to guess the problem by just reading about it...maybe video could be useful what you experience? Normally if you have made calibration between closed an open...the rest of the sounds in between will follow in a smooth way.

This is a great new version! :-)

Jman’s old idea, how to create an extra tight hi-hat layer in 2box...got solved within a mouse click in the new version! (It was quite complex to do it manually earlier)

And there are more goodies! Just to upgrade or buy!! Your best tool for 2box!

A trick when trying to wake up the calibration on an old DrumIt Fives hi-hat...is to do the opposite...when calibrating. E.g When it is supposed to be in closed mode and your are about to press the calibration button...you open the hit-hat instead...and press the button. And continue to close the hi-hat when it indicates calibration for the open state. If you try this and have working cables, mounted magnet below and the hi-hat pad and still gets “no change”...the hi-hat pedal circuit could be faulty.

I followed the instructions and now I have a working 64 SD Card in my drumit 3, it's the Sandisk Extreme...

Hmm, did the card You copied also show latency issues? To find the right card is maybe still an issue even if moving to 64GB.  My Sandisk Ultra 100 mb/s SD card with 50 cm extender cable seems to work fine...and has done it for a week or so...

I tried my 64 GB with a extension cable (50 cm length) on my Five & Five MKII for a couple of hours without any problems. I will do it also in the near time on my Three.

Here's how to import all your Unit settings from an old kit bank to a new kit bank with DKit Manager:
- double click in the explorer to open the new kit bank
- on the first Unit page click Import at the bottom
- browse and select the old kit bank
- click Save to save the changes to the new kit bank, or Save as to save as a new file

As said - a great function - but should it not be a export function also? :-)

This actually a real nice function in DKIT MANAGER / (Which is quite obvious when looking in DKIT Manager /  )

Just to make sure that you go to the first "unit" in DKIT Manager page and click import here. Not from the import function on the main page! Then it import all your configuration settings! Pretty Neat - Big thanks Lustark!

Hmm...

All 2box settings is stored on each SD CARD. (Not on the 2box itself) So if You boot on your old card your usual settings is used...but if you just takes the MKII SD card...it will just take the default settings from this card. So all settings needs to be reproduced or copied to your MKII card. However...if you just take your dkit file from the old card to the MKII card...the settings will be right for your pads...but the sound banks still be your old ones...(the banks are stored in the same dkit file)

You need to make the same adjustments to the settings on all pads on the MKII card to be equal to your old card.

This can maybe be done directly on a computer off line - if you are skilled on Dkit Manager from Lustark.

The Kit which Ralf at Drum-tec is using is the #1 kit on the image for Drumit Five MKII.
They should sound exactly the same even if you are running it on a Five MKI.

Tested with a 128 GB SDXC Card from Kingston with Jojo34s new findings - so here comes my 2 cents:

Performing all outlined steps in the 64 GB approach described by Jojo34 - but instead in this case use a 128 GB card, extend the partition to include the whole SDXC card - e.g.  128 GB. This will however leave you with the disappointing result that the Drumit will just try to boot forever. 

Ok - some more tests:

• Setting the partition size below 60GB - WORKS! Good thing are that you can use a 128GB card - even if you are only using 50% of it...
• Setting it above 60GB - and Drumit will try to boot the OS forever...

So the conclusion is - around 60GB is the maximum which all Drumits can address. (A normal 64GB card will probably leave you with a partition size on around 58 GB). Based on the fairly advanced process to generate a working SDXC card - I think we can estimate that 2box never will officially be supporting 64GB. (But I can be wrong here -  )

But we have a nice workaround - and it is actually quite hard to fill up all 60GB with dsnd files...!

The 64 GB card which is on the picture in previous post, worked in my MKII. But I think I need to run it for some days before really accepting that it works flawlessly. :-)
