Needs must when the devil farts in your face, as they say!

Hopefully be able to set aside a few gig for attachments to posts as long as people respect copyright etc :)

That's for another day though...

Author Topic: stereo from OUT1 and OUT 2  (Read 42 times)

Is there any way to make Out 1 channel right, and Out 2 channel left so I can have a stereo monitor system? I have a small PA that I use with my 2Box and I would like to do this and then set different balances on my 4 toms so I can have my left most tom coming through the left speaker and  right most tom out of the right, balancing things so when I do a fill from left to right the sound follows the direction of my playing? I see how I can balance each pad, but I can't figure out how to assign the individual outputs on the brain to be either left or right. Or do I have to do this with the headphone jack and make a Y cable with a TRS jack on one end and 2 TS jacks on the other ends. I have 2 QSC Ksub subwoofers, a K12 speaker on one pole and a Behringer D212 on the other one. Right now I just run it mono and jump the signal from one side to the other, but I could just as easily run them separately if I could figure out how to assign L and R to 2 outputs on the brain. Can this be done?
Thanks,
Snyde

Not sure he was asking this ....

@snydley ,just go to UNIT page4 , there you can assign the SUB to OUT 1-2 ... if you use the clic , you can chose to desactivate it from the SUB bus(on the same page ) , and keep it in the headphone out  , chosing MIX for it

...  for further details , all is in the manual ....

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / Forum Problems - update
August 02, 2012, 07:46:43 PM
Hey people

Depending on the speed of your ISP picking up fresh DNS records, you might well be seeing this on the new host!

I've brought back everything up until July - still hoping to to arrive at last week - I'll see if I can re-integrate whatever I can.

In the meantime, please don't post anything but feel free to browse :)

Cheers

Diamond Electronic Drums

Diamond Electronic Drums are based in the UK and recently started stocking 2box kits - they've got years of experience building their own range of (rather beautiful) custom e-drums.

hey fellow 2boxers ... why dont you send your best Dsounds to Louis ? (etc)

Yo edtc and all, just want to point out that the forum isn't a place to share copyrighted sounds without permission from the owners of that copyright material - we're duty-bound to delete any dodgy posts etc.

Not taking a political stance, just an arse-covering one :)

Hi Franz

Like Puttenvr says, please don't double-post :)

If you contact your local distributor you might be able to get hold of a DVD of the sounds or something.

Let us know how it goes.

Solution found.

Jman's suggestion worked.
...
Tony

Hey, nice guide, I've copied & stickied it here

Thanks to C828 and JMan for this one

Press the UNIT button to get into the setup system.

When you see this screen tap the PAGE DOWN button once.

You should now see a screen where it says TRIG on the side like this:

Now tap any of the CYMB buttons.

Press down on this knob.

So that the letter reads "M" next to the GAIN number

This should now make the Cup/Bell ring with a firm but not necessarily hard hit.

Hope this helps you it certainly helped me ;) !

If it works for you, SAVE the changes by pushing the PAGE UP button then this button once.

Hey Humpie

Guess it depends on which tracks you're aiming to replicate, but I read somewhere that Prince makes extensive use of Linn Drums + lots and lots of processing.

If this is what you're looking for, you might get some joy here:

Hey chaps

I guess karma's sometimes useful for newcomers to the forum to see whose opinions are considered trustworthy and valid at a glance - but if you want karma switched off, no problemo. I'll make a poll!
