Trade sales / Wembley Drum Centre
August 17, 2009, 09:50:22 PM

Wembley Drum Centre is like a walk-in paradise for drummers - go through the double-door airlock and you step into a space full of absolutely beautiful acoustic kits.

They've also got rooms devoted to Roland and Yamaha, with space being made for the new kid on the block (with the best ancestry mind you) - the 2box drumit five :) Friendly staff who know their stuff are on hand to help, and there are many demo e-kits to try out...If you're a percussionist living anywhere near North London you've got no excuse not to check it out.

By the way, let me know if you're interested in having your song remixed in an acid / dub / break beat / downtempo style - espcially like working with interesting female vocals :)

Oh, and nice hat that drummer!

Czech it out - looking goooood :)

Nice production too despite vimeo's audio compression squelching everything up.

Good work!

Wicked  ;D Hook it up to your loudest monitors and hang up the "closed" sign in the window for a couple of days :)

Hahaha, yeah or you could get your grand-children to read it out for you ;)

I too am just kidding :)

I'll have a play with the CSS stylesheet sometime and see if I can get the format a bit narrower.

Hey, less of the spam  >:(

Only kidding :D

The forum looks really nice. Late-night nice.

Nice one Daz, looking forward to seeing & hearing more :)

If anyone's got the disc, you can use something like winamp to drag the disk into a playlist and then save the playlist as an HTML file. I doubt it will pick up directory structure though (presumably kits are saved in their own individual folders).

DrumIt 5 Hardware / Re: USB 1.1

You know what, I was thinking the same thing, especially seeing as USB 3.0 is not far off...

If my maths is not too far wrong, 12 megabits per second I think works out at about 1.5 megabytes per second - that's roughly 45 minutes to copy across 4Gb. It's not the end of the world, and I doubt you'll be swapping out your entire storage space that often...but it's not that fast either.

Maybe the licensing for USB 1.1 is a lot cheaper?

I'd reply to say 'nice find' but I'm too busy reading  :D
