I bought Sonar 7 from Dolphin - not a lot to say really other than it was delivered on time and the disk worked :)

Good work patbat :)

Nice smiley - I've added it to the set, hope that's okay!

:patbat2box:

The Spanish Cow remark made me laugh out loud, and the Benny B reference reminded me of my trip to France about 15 or 16 years ago....mais vous êtes fous?

Ah oui!

edit: oh God, just looked it up... it was 19 years ago. That makes me feel OLD :D

I'm going to have to install a sarcasm plug-in to the commenting system  ;)

Hey wbrs, if you want to PM him about serious interest in buying his kit that's fine, but I'll be honest your comment came across a bit like a dodgy used car salesman buying a decent car for a knock-down price!

My advice: Hold in there Micke, it's only a month or so until the update which should fix a lot of issues.

wav and aiff

(I only mentioned the mp3 player thing because I have a hunch that it is having similar problems)...Although native mp3 support would be pretty cool. Or maybe OGG if licensing of the mp3 codec is an issue.

My reasoning for chopping actual wavs (as opposed to say just renaming a small .txt file) is in case the unit gets confused by a lack of appropriate header information.

Thinking out loud :)

edit: oops better listen to Theo :D

I was having a think about this - Bengt said something a while back about handling larger file sizes being one of the problems with the USB protocol. It's one of the key aspects they're trying to fix for 1.0.

Could you try chopping your big .wav files right down (to say 100k each) using an app like audacity to trim them to only 1 second or so, and try to over-write the corrupted ones again (simply so you can try deleting them). This used to work on an old mp3 player for me and I'm guessing the problems aren't a million miles apart.

Wow man, don't split up! Apart from the tightness of the production you lot can actually write songs.

Of all of them Colony is my favourite, closely followed by Observations - great movements from mellow / ambient to wall of rockin' sound in both of them.

And your drums sound reeeeally nice :D

Salut mon amis!

It's a valid concern but when you consider the humble beginnings of the DDrum, if anyone can do it it's these guys. Sure they're a start-up right now, but they have unrivalled experience in the field. Spread the word!

Hats off to Google translation tools for doing a reasonable job on this article from the Swedish website Studio...
- here's the translated article
- and here's the original for the Svenskaphones who visit the board :)

Scott from Hand in Hand would be able to give an idea in GBP (which you will give you an idea of Euros / Krona) - but I'm not sure the pricing and size availability has been 'set in stone' yet.
