You're welcome :-)
Which bootupd version did you use?
And which OS do you run?
Cheers.

Hi.
Here are boot updater 1.32 and 1.34.
https://we.tl/t-veXkWlNem8

Hold left button over lcd at power up for usb mode.
Copy them to sd card root.
Power off, hold mid button, power up.
Select bootupd 1.32 or 1.34 and LOAD.
Boot is updated, then restart.

It might be that on restart bootupdater loads again because of later (higher) version number.
However, I think I made it that only files with OS are loaded on normal power on.
Otherwise, just remove bootupd.bin by usb.

NOTE!
This is for original DI5 only, what is changed after that, I dont know.
Also, I only made the DI5 OS upto 1.24.
If boot 1.32 works, all good.
If you get occasional weird behaviour, update to 1.34.
It fixed an issue in later processor chips which meant lower clock frequency.

Best, Deve.

Hi. No service man for dd3.
Only email (eccept on-line) support I found

They might be as friendly to pass on your req.

Hi. Its not about "too fast", its about access time.
Unfortunately, larger sizes might mean even more than 4 level mlc (2 bits per cell). I read about 16 level, unbelievable. 16 charge levels in 1 cell.! Oosh...
So I think (!) that might affect access time.

Hi. 64 GB sdxc can be reformatted as FAT32, however, a flash card is not like a traditional hard drive because of the erase block boundaries. And not the same as sdhc either.

"You can't use the usb port when dealing with SD cards above 4 GB, However it is not much to long for anyway. The USB implementation on all Drumits is version 1...and extremely slow...moving sound-files of 100-200 Mb takes forever, to use it you needed to boot up the module in a special USB mode and the USB port didn't handle midi at all..."

True... but it was 10 years ago, and still no other module has that convenience: plug in your module and drag-n-drop your sound files. Of course today it should be usb 2.0 (480 Mbps).

Also, there is no 4 GB limit on USB 1.1 (as sometimes stated), it was just the internal implementation, as the card was built in anyway.

Nice to know that the original  DrumIt 5 still holds its ground...

New firmware is by others now.
Option 1 or 2 is possible I guess.
The future will tell...

Hi. I named both metronome and wave playback as accompaniment ACMP.
Indeed, the sub mux was intended to be used as the "audience" feed where one can disable metr and line in for example, while still having it all in the main mix to the phones.
However, they use the same vol setting. I should have added separate mix ctrls but its out of my hands now.
But I guess you could edit your wav in Audacity or something and change the rel volume of L versus R.

Hi.

GruBe, Deve.

Vielleicht ein floating point wav datei?

... plus 2 metal brackets.
Btw, I think the PEC11R is a better encoder. They have the same footprint so just check rhe right length of the shaft.

Hi. Yes thats the right encoder. Its a pretty closed housing so I guess spray wont get in.
Probably best to replace them. You can pretty easily clip all 5 metal pins so you can solder away each pin by itself.
Best of luck, Deve.
