The MK2 looks awesome, they basically fixed all the quirks and then some. I've already been researching how to determine magnetic strength and my friend sells 3d printers, I feel like once my magnet arrives we can come up with something.  I'll keep you posted.

I bought it, thanks again. It seems like somebody should have figured out a homemade solution for this since they are so hard to find. Who on here is an engineer 😃

OK, I think I get it...but wouldn't that mean that I couldn't use the editor software with the larger card/kits, right?  Unfortunately I already booted it up in usb mode several times to edit my kit,  I hadn't read this yet.  How would I know if I damaged my module? I also need a hi hat magnet....is there a 2box therapist I could talk to?  ;D  I can tell this module is awesome by the sounds I'm getting but getting it dialed in is a bit challenging.  Thanks again.

Hi all,  Anybody out there know where to get a replacement magnet?  I just got the whole hi-hat set up and there it's missing. They seem to be sold out everywhere online. Is there a diy fix?  Thanks for the help.

Thank you! I ordered the converter, but in the meantime I took a high quality 32gb sd card from my camera, formatted it, then I put the latest os and sounds on there and it worked perfectly. Almost like a factory reset! I was impressed before the upgrade but now it's like a new machine. Thanks again!

I am having a similar problem with my mk1.  I finally figured out how to open it up in usb mode and noticed that nothing had been updated since 2012.  I backed everything up on my computer then installed the latest os and all the kits, sounds etc and now when I try to boot it up it says OS Error.  I tried erasing it and putting everything back the way it was but it says that all the backup files are corrupt.  Should I reformat the SD card and the reinstall everything?  I can't figure it out.  Any help would be appreciated.

Quote from: welshsteve on March 23, 2023, 03:43:26 AMIs it the orange one or the back one with orange writing.

Basically, is it drumit5 mk1 or mkII?

Mark 1 was powered by 18volts AC current. Very important you get AC/AC adaptor.

The MkII was changed to be powered by DC current. I can't remember what voltage, but I think it's 9volt. I'll have a look online and will report back.

It's the mkI, I figured out the power supply and got it from the link below on Amazon, thanks! Now how do I hook up the hi hat with only one plug? I'm sure it's some sort of splitter cable but I have no idea which one. I'm using Roland pads. Thanks again!

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / US power supply

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum so I apologize for asking this question again. I got a used drumit 5 and it came with a euro plug. I searched this forum and all the links to purchase them are old and don't work. I called the US distributor and they said they would call me back but that was days ago...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
