Hi Folks,

My apologies if this has already been asked (search doesn't return any results) but I'm wondering if there is an easy way to have outputs 3 & 4 be mirrors of output 1 & 2?

I don't want to have to go inti each trigger (sound) and change the bus individually. I'm hoping there's a way to do this like the Unit Out settings but I only see "OUT1.2"...

I had the same issue.  It suddenly stops playing any sounds.  The only thing I can do is power cycle the module.
BTW, the Speedlight kit doesn't have an SD card so those links aren't applicable.

I'd love to know the solution to this, it's happened twice to me so far.  I've since done a full factory restore and seems to have stabalized.

No, I'm not selling mine either (just got it) and was doing factory resets and noticed the bunch of missing files which caused me to scratch my head.

First, thanks for jumping on and trying to help.  It is appreciated.

Sadly, it's dissapointing that 2Box doesn't monitor this forum nor respond to support emails sent directly to them.

I understand the sounds file structure and have gone ahead and downloaded all sounds from the sound page of their site.  However, what's really annoying is that I've reset my Speedlight kit to factory defaults a couple of times now.  (deleting all files on the module including the init files and re-installing from scratch (from website)).  It's very odd that out of the box, it's missing sounds.  Not only do you get the errors in the editor but when using certain kits with missing sounds (which you won't know if not using the editor), some pads don't make any sounds while others will give some sort of feedback/buzz...

I'll keep at this and try to figure out how to get 2Box support but again, thanks all!

Funny, you're one of the few who responds on here, furthering my point about support but thank you welshsteve for your help thus far.

As you may have seen from my other posts I've experienced several issues.  So I've reset my system from original files several times.  At lease I think I did.  I downloaded the "DrumIt3_SL_Master 1.33" zip file on their support site....Unpacked it and then copied everything onto my unit over-writing everything.

When I start of the 2box Drumit Editor I keep getting errors that it can't load missing sounds.  I've searched the SL_Master 1.33 zip and it does not contain those sound file so I get those sounds from the Drumit5 source files and this fixes a couple load errors.  Then switch kits within the editor to get more missing sound files.  I've loaded 3 different kits within the editor at random generating 3 different sets of missing sound file errors.   

When I look through the Speedlight 1.33 zip download these sound files don't exist which means they're not in the source files provided by 2box.

Ultimately, 2Box, please let me know what is the correct download file for the Speedlight kit because when I load the editor it's using the "Speedlight.dkit" file so it is for the Speedlight kit but it's missing several sounds...

How do I reset to factory default if it's missing sounds when I use the "DrumIt3_SL_Master 1.33" zip file.

General question...

How popular is 2Box?  I'm going out on a limb and thinking not that popular.  Certainly not the same market share as Roland, Alesis and Yamaha...  I like the flexibility but to be honest, the default kits on my Alesis sound better to me.   Maybe it's got to do with my tech questions/issue which leads to my next question.

Next question...

Does anyone monitor the support@2box-drums.com email?  I've not had any replies to any of my support e-mails, so failing that, how does one get support?

I'm going to delve much deeper into the settings.  There's a lot to learn and tweak with this kit.   I think sometimes I maybe doing more harm than good! LOL

As for the triggering when not even at the set, it's actually sounding like someone has hit the ride. It's a clear ride sound, triggered all on its own.  Guessing a loose piezo...

BTW, all cables are straight from the box.  As in they all came with it, all 100% 2Box cables and kit.

However, last night while playing...it just went entirely dead on me. Mid-song, power still on but no pads or cymbals or anything would make a sound.  Had to power-cycle it.  Anyone else experienced that, just dead but with power mid-song?

I'm thinking perhaps it got damaged somehow in shipping (Germany to Canada)...who knows.

Appreciate the input and I've already read your other posts and downloaded the sounds (I even downloaded the entire content of the 2box site (except some folders are protected so you don't get all 670+ sounds) LOL.

My ride trigger is messed up (I think defective out of the box).  Using the Unit-Trigger screen you can see what zones trigger when you hit the bell, bow and rim.  Sadly hitting the bell will trigger a 1, a 4 and and 8 sometimes.  Same with the other zones.   I can even hear it triggering when I'm not even touching the set.

It's a great kit and I'm like you always fiddling and tweaking to get the "right" sounds.

I'll give that DSNDTool, sounds like it would be of interest.

I've reached out to 2box support about the ride trigger...my guess, will have to get a new one.

Answered my own question about "double kick sounds".  It's masking setting on Page 51.  Gonna go give that a try LOL!!

I'm the proud new owner of a brand new Speedlight kit.  However, I've gone through the manual and videos and have a few questions.  Hoping the forum may have the answers...

1) It's a 2box HH, but I can't seem to calibrate it to the recommended setting of the manual.  In particular the RAW value barely changes using the screwdriver and does not reach the range of 600-650 as stated in the manual

2) My kick, I'm using my old pedal from my Alesis set (with a new beater).  However, after adjusting and fiddling, I can't seem to stop an "echo" or ghost kick from sounding.  When I kick hard it's almost like a double kick pedal.  The beater is not striking twice but there's a definite second hit a couple of milliseconds behind.   What's the suggestion for getting rid of this? I've tried different kick settings in the unit menu...

3) Is it me or is the Ride a little wonky?  I'm hitting the edge of the ride but getting deep loud sounds (not edge shots, more like a loud crash).  Perhaps my 3 zone settings are messed up on it?

4) Got to say, using the Drumit Editor is WAY easier than manually configuring the module.   However, how do you save to empty banks?  I can create new (copy existing kit to say 99 and then edit.  but I can't create a new empty E1 kit

5) As mentioned in another post, there's no search or filter on the sounds download page.  I can't simply search for snare or kick, etc...  Also, those are some old files...any new ones?LOL.

Lastly, it's a great kit, but the 4 GB memory (not expandable) is already biting me in the butt.  I can't add new sounds as it's out of space.  I have to delete and then add.  Any suggestions?  I'm guessing not as it's built-in 4GB....  don't even get me going on the USB 1 speeds LOL.

Anyone else notice when you first load the 2Box sounds download page, the search and filters briefly appear then disappear? Meaning you can't filter and search for a specific sounds/instrument.

If you go to https://2box-drums.com/sounds/ and try it, you'll see it flash then disappear.  I've tried it on ALL browsers (Chrome, Edge, IE, Safari, Opera, etc..) Same problem.

2Box can you please fix this within you page so we can filter and sort sounds.
