Im trying to convert a dsnd to wav to use in my spd-sx
I´ve tried to just rename the .dsnd file to .wav and listen to it and import the .dsnd in Audacity.
But when I listen to it it´s much higher in pitch than when i play the sample in the 2box drumit editor
Anybody knows why this appears and is there anything to get it in same pitch?

Yes this works for me, Roland PDX-12 is working with the 2box Drumit 3 module!👍
Thanx man!
Did you get it to work with both head and rim?

Is there a way to boost the output volume on the headphone out (Already max on the volume knob).
I feel like the volume is a bit too low playing with headphones.
Tried with both AT atm m50x and vic firth headphones.

I don't know, too much hassle to create dsnds from some plastic sounds.... if you have a 2box you are wasting this by sampling a td-30... just buy addictive drums or ssd5 and sample those instead...
Have you heard the sound from the TD-30?
Which of then do you think are plastic?
I’ve used my module live many times and never heard anybody complained about a plastic sound.

The td-30 samples are not multilayered.... you can create a dsnd with 200 samples but if they are not multilayered/round robin'ed you'll end up with an AK-47....
I’m not sure about that.
If I record say the snare with different velocity the sound is different.
Say I record it with velocity on the midi file to 120 and then one with 20 and gain so both files are -1dB they won’t sound exactly the same. So I hope this won’t be an machine gun sounding .dsnd file.

ANGR77!
That´s great
Thanks alot for the info and help.
I will try to "sample" some sounds from my TD-30 this way and do a .dsnd file and see how it works

Just downloaded the eNerd samples and put it in the module and startet do play around with it.
I noticed there was alot noise laying on top of all the sounds/samples, ofcourse it´s free files so I don´t really know what to expect and exept for that the sounds are fine
Does anybode else hear these things?

For me who hasn’t got these VST it would be a lot cheaper with the Logic Pro sounds then by the VST’s first.

When you sample for multi layers and put it in the editor do you have to name the different wave files according to the velocity?
Snare1 = lowest velocity
Snare2 = a bit higher
Etc etc
Or do the editor feel the velocity by itself?

Has anybody extracted the drumsounds form Apple´s Mainstage och Locig Pro and tried to use it in the module?
In that case did it work well or was it a waste of time doing so?

Thanks for the answer.
Have you updated your module yet?

It seems very strange that the Di3 is delivered with only 4Gb internal memory, since the memorycards in so inexpensive
Does anybody know how much free memoryspace theres left with all the stock-kits on the card?

Is it possible to just change the internal memorycard or will I have to do an extendercard update?

Ordered a Speedlight today without being able to test it so Im really hoping to like it.
I already have a Roland TD-30 at home som this is gona be a drumset that I can use with my band.
From what I´ve understand is the hardware not as exclusive as Rolands dito but hopefully it will work out well.
