You can virtually buy an O ring kit for what stores charge for 1. Ive done the same as you on nearly all my pads, if they fit and work its fine just dont buy the original ones they are just not worth it, kits will always be available but check all of them as you will most likely need to replace more.

sorry just noticed edrumin module, i would just make a center trigger of your own using foam and a piezo. i use my own center mounted trigger on a 14" snare with td 12 and a triggit for the snare input on my 2box ,gives some nice mixed sounds and positional sensing ,great for flams

2box does not have positional sensing only older roland modules TD30 and below

Sometimes the knobs can be a bit erratic when altering kits and settings but can be coped with if rotated slowly, pad rims will need new O rings thats all, cymbals tend to be worse affected by lots of use so check they trigger evenly ie, edge , and bow doesn't trigger bell with three way setting, try this with a few different kits as not all cymbal sounds are three way.check ride cymbal triggers well three way, make sure all cymbal pads have still have a rim protector by lifting the edges up.€485 sounds ok .

As for machine gunning (an acoustic drummers syndrome) cant help there i only ever play electronic so dont really understand all the fuss  ;D

If its the kits sounds your not happy with and its a stock TD12 then i recommend VEXPRESSIONS and Vdrum editor if you havnt already done so

Although i will most likely never fill 64gb with dsnd files but would with drumless wav tracks to play along and practice to I had to try it. I had about 1 hour on it today playing wav files as well with no noticeable latency issues. 👍 Drumit5 MKI.

Even now they've dropped the price to £1939 from £2330 i think for the old pads and cymbals i think its way too over priced not when you could buy an ATV EXS-5 for £1800 with better pads and cymbals all be it the Drumit5 MKII is a superior module, I think £1500 would have been a realistic price IMO.

Its something you get used to but then ive only ever really played electronic drums for the last 17 years, started playing on them so its just a natural thing, think thats why i like the 2box hats so much,

Ive got two of the MK1 hi hats , love em no problem with them as long as they are set up correct on a the Five MK1 module, I would say my VH 11 is marginally better only because of it having firmer rubber . I Use the Zourman box on my Drumit5 for my VH11

I like the stock hat fine , so much so i bought a spare, i have a zourman vh11 box as well to run that on the module too, i find the the vh 11 marginally better only due to the firmer playing surface but other than that i love the original hats

I read a lot that people hate the drumit 5 hi hat, now not being an acoustic drummer and having started my drumming with edrums and only ever played acoustics four or five times i find no problem at all with it and actually rate it as equal to my VH11. I find it no problem at all even using FD type pedals .what do those who hate it dislike about it ????

I still use old drumit 5 and have all the new sounds as well as old on my 32gig card, only the the 3zone snares cause problems

Sorry it looks like they dont allow it anymore
