I've got a set of Yamaha RHH135 Hi-Hats for sale- looking for £120 plus postage. Work really well with 2box DI3 and DI5 Mk2. Can send pictures to those who might be interested. Pm me if interested.

I had this problem and it was fixed by replacing the sd card. I recommend getting one from Zourman Drums - he has a stock of original 2box cards.

I hope it all works out.

This has come back with a vengeance - to the extent that the whole module stops triggering which is very unnerving when I want to use my module in a live environment. Any ideas what may be happening? I can't afford to replace the module so need to find a way to get this issue resolved.

I seem to have solved this by purchasing a sound card from Anders at Zourman... no drop-outs since. Have to say I am relieved as I thought I might have to purchase an alternative module for live use...

All sorted now thanks....

I'm trying to export a specific drum from Steven Slate - the 14" Tom from the Chunky Rock kit. For the life of me I can't get SDSE to extract this particular drum.... any ideas? Steven Slate has mapped it wierdly as an extra tom rather than as Floor Tom 1.... but when you do realign it, it doesn't register... Any ideas?

Cheers

Have a DI5 Mk2 which I love - but a couple of times I have had the module sound just cut out randomly for a few seconds and then come back in. Has anyone had this happen to them? Do you know what makes it happen? I'm struggling to replicate it on purpose. It's very annoying and makes me reluctant to use it in a live setting. Any tips on solving the issue would be gratefully received. fYI I'm running SSD on a 64gb sd card.

Thanks

I just replaced a jobeky trigger cone that had disintegrated with a drum doctor cone - I'm experiencing a weird double triggering thing... anyone else experienced this? Any idea what it is and how I can deal with it?

Sabian63. Hey thanks! You'd be the perfect person to tell me why I'd want to go with the DI5mkII over the DI3! ?
I wanted the vertical faders, the ability to have more individual outs, and the capacity to have a little bit more control over everything.... but I still loved the open sound architecture.... I currently running SSD 5.5 in the DI5 Mk2 - and it sounds really good.

From memory it does - although it has been a while since I owned a DI3 - I upgraded to a DI5 Mk2.

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / SDSE Export
May 31, 2022, 03:55:44 PM
Hi,

I'm trying to get SDSE to export a single zone of a snare drum i.e. just the side stick or rim so that I can create a specific .dsnd file for that zone (to use on a BT1 trigger bar.) I'm playing around with the settings - but haven't quite landed on the correct one to get SDSE to export as multiple wav files.... Can anyone help me?

Cheers

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / Roland BT1

Hi All,

Is anyone using a Roland BT-1 Bar Trigger with their Drumit 5 Mk2 or Drumit 3? I was wondering which trigger settings to use? I know the BT1 has a switch and a piezo - with switch acting as a gate to stop it triggering unless struck directly. Any experience shared would be great.

Many thanks

Chris
