Has anyone used Roland's new VH-14D with a Drumit3 or Drumit5?

I started with a Roland CY-R13 what I know works, I had been using it with a Roland TD-20.  Same issue

Hi

Yes I agree all 3 zones should work.

I have tried both outputs from the CY-R15 in both inputs for cymbal inputs 1 and 2 on the DrumIt 3.  I've set the pad type to CyPSB.  I've tried hitting the bell really hard.

No luck

Hello everyone

I have been trying for some time to try and get the Bell/Bow trigger on my CY-R15 to work.  I've tried a few things:

  • I've worked through the Zourman guide without success
  • Tried CYMB inputs 1 and 2
  • Tried a Roland CY-R13 I know works used it with my old Roland TD20
  • Bought the Roland CY-R15 and it was brand new
  • Multiple 1/4" stereo cables
.

All these have been tried with the standard kits that come with the DrumIt 3  I have had no success with any of these.  I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with the DrumIt unit itself.

Any suggestions gratefully listened to

If its the kits sounds your not happy with and its a stock TD12 then i recommend VEXPRESSIONS and Vdrum editor if you havnt already done so

It was a stock TD-12, then it wasn't when I loaded more than one set of VExpression kits.  Even with VExpression kits, the Drumit3 (with standard kits) sounds much better.

Hi

newbie here.  I've currently got a Roland TD12 and now I'm starting to work on things like doubles, 6 stroke rolls and generally playing around with ghost notes.  The TD12 isn't sounding so good. I'm after something that sounds better and doesn't 'machine gun'.

I have gradually upgraded from a Roland TD4 to a TD9 to a TD12.  I'm thinking it's time to jump ship and everything I've read about the 2Box Drumit 3 is very positive.  My only concern is that I'm in Australia and 2Box do not have a distributor down here.

Would you upgrade from a TD12 to the 2Box Drumit 3?

Thanks
