for me the only weird issue is when changing kits the closed hihat sounds open, I have to lift the foot to sound closed again. Other than that no issues here, pretty happy with my vh-11

I confirm this issue.

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / Re: Adding midi notes

Really, every edrum module (or synth) has a limited polyphonic capacity. Has you verified how many midi notes can you assign (and play) simultaneously on DM10? I doubt it may be unlimited.

On Drumit you can assign 15 different instruments to 15 midi notes, but really you can assign much more sounds to midi notes, creating your own instruments.

About the sd card extender cable, i bought this cheap one:

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/SD-Male-To-SD-Female-SDHC-SDXC-Card-Reader-Extension-Adapter-Cable-Extender-For-Phone-Car/32820269171.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.cRfEnv

The speed test was almost identical to the one obtained without extender:

I am using the same sd card as mastervinnie, SanDisk Ultra SDHC 32GB, much faster than original 2Box sd card and very inexpensive:

Did you test the card in the extender before putting the module back together?

Because that was the one part that threw me off a bit. I posted this earlier: When I tested the card in the slot with the module open I got a NO USB connection type msg. on the screen, no boot. However, after I installed one of the screws that hold the board to the top case everything booted like normal with the module open. So I assume the screw is needed for grounding the board .....

Fortunately I read your post about sd card mod before opening my drumit module. Thanks to your help, I installed one of the board screws before any testing.

Thanks! I don't think I would have had the courage to make sd card mod without reading your post.

For everybody interested on drumit three...

I have made sd card mod on drumit three without any heat gun.

You'll find more details here: http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,3796.0.html

I have made sd card mod on Drumit Three without using a heat gun.

In essence I follow all steps suggested on JMan post about sd card mod on Drumit 3, but I don't used any heat gun (I don't own any). I simply lifted the motherboard on the side that has card slot, just enough to extract sd card, and replaced it with the extender card. It was very easy and fast. Everything works perfectly!!!

Obviously, any mod similar is done at your own risk.

Gorgeous JMan. You are a very brave man!!!

Then there is enough space between the top and bottom sections of the case to insert the extension cable. Isn't it?

Hopefully you get a drumit 3 to test it with your software, there's some nice improvements over the drumit 5, the main one regarding the headphones out, may be you could optimize the dsnds more :-)

I received my Drumit Three on last night. My Yamaha XP120 snare works wonderfully. 3 zones are detected perfectly. Lustar send my a new beta SDSE version for getting 3 zone snares from vst, and I own now many high quality 3 zone snares.

I love Drumit Three :)

I converted the SD3 snares for my drumit 3 using the SDSE options rim-sidestick 80% and it works like a charm. As for the internal snares I haven't tried the 3 zone using a roland pad with switching velocity.

Yes. This is an option, but I own a Yamaha 3 zones snare and I would like to use it without any such limitation.

Hi Walse,
The current version can already be used for the DrumIt Three and exporting to 3 zone snare .dsnd will be added in a future version. If you have a 3 zone snare pad it's possible to set Options > Zones > snare articulation: sidestick to export a snare to a regular snare .dsnd with rim + a separate .dsnd for the sidestick.

Yes, that I already know.

With a compatible version I referred to get 3 zone snares automatically. Until this moment I am first rendering to get the 3 zones wave files from snare, and using 2box editor to create a 3 zones snare. Subsequently I am using SDSE to convert the rest of elements from wave files remaining. My question is about if they are plans to release a new version that automates the process.

Hi Lustar.

I have buyed a SDSE license. There are plans afoot to release a version compatible with the new characteristics of Drumit 3 module?

Incredibly, at present, there is no a manual for Drumit 3.

You can get an english quick start guide here: http://2box.se/World/pages/products/

There are few differences between Drumit 3 and Drumit 5. You can get a Drumit 5 manual for the remaining characteristics not specified on quick start guide: http://2box.se/World/pages/downloads/
