Title: Moving Bass drum...
Post by: nengstro on March 08, 2011, 05:26:14 PM
My bass drum (MKII) is moving back and forth  (wobbling substantially...) when played with a double pedal. What to do? :patbat2box:

You´ve propably already thought of it, but have you tightened the kick enough and and made sure the small stand (with the orange rubber end) attached to the clamp has contact with the floor? Don´t tighten it too hard since the clamp can break, lower the lower pipe instead.

It comes from a mk1 snare stand.

Hey,

Just noticed the protection you have for the cables.
I've had a quick look on ebay, can't really see anything.
Do you have a link to where I could buy something similar or is this just something quite common from a shop somewhere?

Hello Chris,

It comes from the Gamma in the Netherlands. Its a cable bundel, they have different colours and sizes.
Greetings.
Roel.

If anyone else was interested,
I have just bought some cable bundle tubes to tidy the kit up, similar to what Roel has in the images.
