Hello fellow 2Boxers!
:patbat2box:
I got my kit last year but i am looking to expand it.
Please can you tell me..
On the toms, can I use a splitter cable and take the rim sound to another new pad?
Has anyone done this??
Thank you for your help.
Ken
... Yes you can !
:)
That is good to know!
I assume I need male to dual female? Does this work on only Tom inputs?
Any special things I need to do?
Thank you!
it works on toms and snare only ...
you ll need a TRS(stereo)Jack to 2 mono jacks ... one tip/sleeve the other ring/sleeve
You'll need something like this ... Sorry, I'm in the US so the link is in the US ... but this is the type:

Hey Jerry, good to see you here! :)
Would Jason's splitter's not be any good for this?
PS: Thanks for the heads up, my guys have been in touch with him 8)

Hi Cuban: No, in my understanding the Drumit 5 Tom or Snare inputs are splittable using a common insert cable/splitter.
The special Aux/Tom input splitters we discussed are a special type that work for specific Roland dual piezo inputs.

Yes, that's what I've used - standard stereo jack to twin mono jacks - and it works fine.
I keep meaning to try and see if the Cymbal inputs will work like this as well. I know the channels are used
differently for a cymbal (choke, position, etc) but the manual seems to hint that the inputs will work in
a more standard way as well. Anybody tried?
