I love my 2 box but would like to get some samples into a Roland unit to play with.
Is there a pitch change match or speed change in Audacity to make a wav sample. I have the Sdound manager but it does not have a save to Wav funtion.
Just change the .dsnd file extension to .wav
So another module can't play the separate samples within the file file like the 2 box does correct? - Which one plays or does the wav compress it all together?
The dsnd file is a wav container with metadata inside that tells the 2Box which sample goes with which velocity. You can load the file in an audio editor and pitch it down to the correct tuning, but you'll have to separate every individual hit. Alternatively, just get DKit Manager and it will do all of this for you...

So does the dound manager crush all the samples into one and make the wav file or the first hit?
DSound Manager will extract all the samples in order, either loudest to softest, or softest to loudest, your choice, for all zones in as many dsnd files as you select. This is by far the easiest way to load 2Box samples into another module or software.
The tool used for exporting sounds from dsnd files is a separate tool in the Drumit Manager offering called Dsound Manager.
When using the exported wave files in other module - most modules like Roland etc do only support one shot waves...so you need to pick one of the exported wave samples from the export.
A note - you can drag and drop a dsnd directly into audacity and see all the hits in wave. No, need to change the extension of the name.
Dsound Manager is a fantastic tool - you can do more nice stuff in it!
