Hi everyone!
I need to repair a Ddrum AT module : the trigger inputs are not working and the samples have distortion on outputs; on headphone output I hear only one channel...
The factory reset doesn't worked...
Maybe someone has the service manual?
Ah, the DDrum 2 service manual may also be useful...
Dear Krillo and Deve Loper, could you help me???
Many thanks in advance!
Hi. Very sorry, dont have it. Try Clavia (nord keyb nowadays), you never know...
Hi Deve, thanks for your reply, but a year ago I wrote to Clavia support and even to the Hans Nordelius personal email...
obviously no reply at all... :'(
I don't know what to do more...
regards
It's too bad, because just those older electronics -can- often be repaired.
Often easy to access rather large components, if they still exist of course.
But if it's analog things, a detective mind and a scope can get you far.
Start with the supply voltages, etc...
Best of luck,
Deve.
UP!
Nobody could help me?
best regards
Can't offer advice for a repair, but Justin Greenwalt (65drums Youtube channel) has a DdrumAT module that he picked up. He did a video on it, was pretty decent I gotta say. Was had expecting to be underwhelmed with the sound, but golly, it sounded great. Of course, it's a different thing to what we're used today with all the multi sample, round robin thing, but it definitely has still got some character to it.
If he's still got it, see if he can sell it to you for a decent price.
Might be worth a punt.
See answer at the ddrum forum :)
