Post by: jeff4242 on April 01, 2021, 03:11:19 AM
Cant seem to get a good bow/bell on the mrkII there is not a CYCup setting like there is on original 2box drumit5. That setting works great! Can anyone help?

You can adjust the bell sensitivity in the UNIT menu using MORE+DATA on the ride trigger as described in the manual. However, that setting only has three fixed values (low, medium, high) in relation to the main trigger GAIN value. If that's not enough, you could edit the ride sample file with DrumIt Manager (by Lustar) and increase the bell zone volume.

Even on the newly released Roland CY-16R-T you have to use HIGH cup sensitivity to get good bell response but it's performance is very acceptable - as long as you aren't playing like a feather on it. I'm going to write a short review I think over at vdrums.
