Title: Is the hi-hat supposed to be tilted?
Post by: dbl on October 20, 2010, 08:37:40 PM
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to ask but if not, maybe there is another section that this can be moved to...

I just got my new 2box set and all in all it's working excellent (sometimes I'm fooled to think I'm playing an acoustic set! :D), but I'm a little worried about the hi-hat.

Is it supposed to be leaning forward?

It's not really an issue unless it's faulty and might break. I made some pics but how do you make them show in this forum? The rubber around the metal square lifts a bit and it feels a little strange to play on a tilted hi-hat.

I would really appreciate your comments, the set is brand new and if something needs sorting out I'd like to get it sorted out as soon as possible.

Thanks,

dBl

Nice hi-hat... ;)
I can't see where's the problem. On mine, the rubber around the piece of metal (near the cup) lifts too... The hat moves a little bit, but I think it's normal.
