Title: SD card read speed
Post by: welshsteve on November 30, 2019, 05:23:39 PM
Hello Gang,

I used to have 2 Dit3 modules, now I have one. When I had two I had one module for cymbals, one for drums. There's a 3zone sound I put together that I had no issue with on the two modules, now I am using the one I have left (the one that used to have cymbals only) I am finding major sporadic latency on this sound. No other sound is affected, just this one. It's quite big (40+ layers on each zone)

I am wondering if I should replace the SD card.

Any ideas?

If you snap a pic of the card I can tell you if there is a better one.

Okay, I’ll have to open it up and get the card out to see. But it’s one that came with it assembled. So it’s a 4gb card.

Sorry man, I thought you had the Extender in that..... The only question on the internal card is if it is one of the Bad ones .... If it is ATP you will prolly not be able to improve on that. 2Box put some modules out with a bad card .... Intenso brand: https://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,3934.msg28466.html#msg28466

Yeah I remember my 2nd module (the one I parted with) needed a new card, so it's stands to reason this could have an iffy one too. It's out of warrantee now so I guess I can't be asking for a replacement so was just gonna get a new one from ebay.

This is the "good" stock card used in the 2Box modules:
