Title: How to route click out on its own?
Post by: mox001 on October 13, 2017, 06:27:25 AM
Hi Guys,

New Drumit purchaser here. Really happy with the kit and module. Have read the manual a few times and searched this forum but can't find the answer I'm looking for, so hoping someone can help.

We (the band) take the drums into our mixer from the module 1-2 outputs and are wanting to output the click on its own from a different output on the module into a separate mixer channel. This is so that it can be separated from the main mix and routed back to the drummer's cans only with the main mix.

Help?

Does the click need to go the external mixer? The module has explicit routing to exclude the click from the output, and the external main mix can come in via line in, so the drummer can hear both that way.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

yep I would prefer to have the whole band hear exactly the same mix from the headphone multiplier. In the meantime I am working on a DAW click track to route to drummer for whole song sets which would be a better long term solution
