Title: Matt Chamberlain sounds...
Post by: Drumster on May 18, 2017, 09:47:47 PM
Anyone here familiar enough with the subject to know if this product would be easily installed in Drummit5 with 32 gig expansion card? I love Matt's sounds.
They sent a ftree sample (and will for you also) but how can I try it out on my 2Box? I'd appreciate your input.

FWIW: 73 samples for 3 drum kits doesn't cut it for me. I usually have almost that many for one drum.
Just sayin'

Good point Tony. But they're sending out free samples, one of which I've already reeived, and I'd like to to incorporate it into my 2Box.
Any idea how I'd go about this?

If you have the dsound tool it is quite easy. There's plenty of info here on the forum of how to import the wavs and create dsnds for import into the 2box.
Have fun!

I agree, nice sounds, but because of the limited depth (they were designed for drum machines) your ear will quite quickly get fatigued. This is why we tend to convert from VSTs, they are a lot more suitable for real drummers.
Anyway, go for it, grab the dsound tool and you'll have them on your 2box in no time.
