Title: Kits Midi program Change
Post by: giusfre on December 22, 2016, 03:34:01 PM
Hi!
Does anybody know how to assign midi notes to kits to make them change with a program change midi signal?
I have midi sequences starting at the beginning of every song sending program changes to every hardware of the band; I have assigned ch 2 to the drums module (at this time I'm using a Roland Td30) and now I need to assign the same channels and note to the 2Box module to make kits change together with the TD30.
I can't find how to do it?
Is it possible that kits has their own midi note assigned by defoult (kit 1 midi note 1, kit 2 midi note 2, etc...) and you can chouse only the midi channel?
many thanks for the help

Program Change can be set to On or Off. Channel 10 is the default Program Change MIDI Channel, but it can be set to a different channel. In the 2Box 1.2X manual it is explained on page 59.

Is...many thanks! I found it!
The only thing that I don't find on the manual is how to assign a program change number (not channel) to each drum kit....but I have tryed and I found that they are from 1 to 100 by defoult!
