I would love to see a way to put the snare off the snaredrum, like an acoustic snare.
If possible with a hardware button!

Absolutely - it'd be a cinch to integrate the button into the snare pad where a snare throw-off would usually be, or have a small button module that attaches to one of the lugs. Have both snare samples loaded in memory, and the button swaps between the two.
Or, you could go nuts and have something like a mixing desk slider that fully mimics a throw-off, mixing between a 'fully on' and 'fully off' sample (or uses an uber-sample that has every combination of velocity and snare tightness...).
