I have roland rt30h but i dont know if is compatibility rt30h for snare with 2box drumit 5.playing 2 zones rim and head?.please responding .thanks

I think the RT-30H is just a single zone trigger, which would mean it is single zone with all drum modules, not just the 2Box. The RT-30HR is the dual zone trigger.

It shouldn't be a problem. With the latest 2Box OS there are plenty of trigger parameters that can be tweaked. Including parameters for dual zone external triggers.

Use the Bow/Edge output of the CY-12RC. Plug into the Cymbal 1 or Cymbal 3 input on the 2Box module and in the Unit settings choose CyEdg for the trigger type. It will work as dual zone (Bow/Edge) with Choke.

And by the way grohl ..... Allan reviewed the Roland RT-30HR in digitaldrummer magazine back in May 2015. And he tested it with a 2Box module too with good results. You might want to check out that review. J

Acustic to electric drum set with 682 mesh and ddt for share...rim elimination for pads and 2box module with Hi hat and ride. Yamaha pcy 135 for crash.roland rt30h triggers and tama hardware pedal and throne !
