Title: Free Drum Samples
Post by: dboomer on November 19, 2015, 05:29:53 PM
I just ran into this today ... a listing of free drum samples from a large number of sites.  I've only downloaded a couple so far so I'll leave it to you to see if there is any value for you.

btw ... does anyone have a link to load the Sennheiser DrumMic'a samples in English?  My German isn't too good (in fact it is non existant) ;)

Nice find. I'll check it out.

There isn't a link for the DrumMic'a page in English. Best bet is to load the page with Chrome and then click 'Translate' if you don't sprechen auf deutsch :)

BTW - I thought the kit was just 'ok', but the cymbals to me sound quite naff. Not complaining, as it's free, but I can't use it for anything.

Loop Samples are a sort of audio file that can be used in a variety of applications. Most notably, DJs utilise them for blending transitions, mix transitions, and beatmatching. Free drum Loop (https://sikksounds.com/product/free-sample-pack/) samples, as the name implies, include accompanying "built-in" loops that can be readily activated on cue.
