It is for testing open/closed transitions. Slowly open or close the pedal while hitting the Hh and you hear a number. 0-10.
oh that is neat, and would be use full. I wondered how it would be possible knowing if the hi hat worked properly triggering all the sounds right. Since don't have the best ear for drums, not being a seasoned vet, i think i could use this as well.
