would virtualisation not work?

Hi everyone

Looks like when we are updating the site we need to move it to a different directory!  ;)

Dr.Wu - I have bootcamp running on my Mac with Windows 7 and it works like a charm. This could be a solution to your issue with being Mac only. I know it is frustrating that this has to be performed on a PC, but this is down to the way that OSX index's files from my understanding.

Thanks
Scott

Hi NeilC

Let's hope that the download link doesn't disappear  ;)

Nice to hear that your update went smoothly. At least people can now update with out the risk of an error.

Thanks

Scott

OK I made the update and everything works good.

I was able to make a complete saving of all the kit on my PC.  ;D

What are the folders "FOUND.000" and "FOUND.001" on the kit?

This is sounds bad for me. Has anyone got this to work with 64-bit Windows?

OS V1.02 solves an audio distortion issue when playing music from an external audio device. OS V1.0 bug fixes are also incorporated with in this update.

If you can get hold of any Windows 7 or Vista you can install without a key to trial for 30 days, but after then it obviously wont activate. I don't think you can download the Windows 7 beta or Release Candidate now as obviously the real version is out....

Hi Everyone

Could some one try this out for me, as i don't have a 64-bit version of Windows here.
If you right click on the boot updater and then go to properties, select the Compatibility tab, then navigate down to run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows XP service pack 2. Does this allow the boot update to run?

Thanks
Scott

Glad to hear it. Before the improvements you gave the Roland hats an edge. Do you still feel that way?

Can't compare it with a Roland at this moment but I guess they're equal
The 2box sounds are better, though

Good news puttenvr. Yesterday I was testing in a shop and the hihat was not callibrated this combined with the old firmware... The stand itself is terrible and snatches and disco beats etc could not be done. The roland td4 hihat was much better and very well playable. I'm waiting for the new drumkit with the new firmware and then I will test it again.

Hi,

I recieved one of the new 2box with the OS 1.02 and the boot 1.30 built in but some of the features doesn't work. I will give another try tomorrow but when I change the mix after pressing KIT I'm still unable to save. After a change the "save?" stays and nothing happen when I press the left DATA button.

When I light the 2box on it's written that it's OS 1.02 and boot 1.30. Wasn't this problem resolved in 1.00 and 1.02 ?

By the way I can't run a .WAV file I uploaded as a SONG. I can see it on the drum but no duration is displayed and I can't play the song.

Hi Tiny

If you navigate to the PREF page by pressing the Unit button, then PAGE DOWN, make sure that the Save option is set to ON.

Does this help?

Thanks
Scott

Hi Scottie,

thanks for the quick answer ! I will check this this evening and tell you if it worked.
For the SONG problem : is it normal, should I use a special WAV format or another way to transfer the song to the box ?

Regards
Anthony

Hi Tiny

A couple of things to try with your Song issue. First make sure that the name of the files isn't more then 47 characters long.
Secondly do you know what quality the file is?

Thanks
Scott

I'm pretty sure the old ones were made out of zinc. The new ones are made out of something called poly carbonate I believe, they're much better than the old ones, and probably just about impossible to break!

Hi all,

@Scottie : Thanks for your advice about the "save" option in preference! It wasn't activated and I just tried and it's perfect now. So again THANKS for your support !!! May be was I too tired (and exited) yesterday to read the documentation and the forum to find out what was happening.
For the song in original Drumit 5 songs the parameters are the followings :
Debit : 1411kbps
Size of sample : 16 bits
Chain : 2 (stéréo)
Rate ... :44kHz
Format : PCM

For my song (title = "Oppression" < 47 characters)
Debit : 705kbps
Size of sample : 16 bits
Chain : 1 (mono)
Rate ... : 44kHz
Format : PCM
Do you think one of the parameters does change something ?

With Audacity I created the same format as the other drumit songs (copied the mono track and record it as a stéréo one) and ...
It worked !!!!!Thanks again !!!! I wasn't aware of this.

@Remi : If you learn me how to differenciate aluminium from polycarbonate it will be a pleasure to answer you. All I can say is : It looks great, the fealling while playing is amazing and the sounds are just killing ! + the possibility to mix them and save the changes add for sure a lot of fun  ;D

By the way if you wants to hear this song it's available on http://www.rebellion-of-one.de/ (http://www.rebellion-of-one.de/)  ;) A little advertising is always welcome  ;D
I've another band in France called Zone sud where the songs are available here : http://www.myspace.com/zonesud (http://www.myspace.com/zonesud). I hope you will enjoy at least one of these bands  :-[

Thanks again for your help and your patience Scottie!

Cheers
Anthony

EDIT : I forgot to add this information.. They improved the Hihat fixing. It's not anymore hold only by one fixing but by two.
