Next to the 2Box there is the .... drumroll .... GigPig.

Tested an old model in 2009 and preferred a Yamaha cocktail-kit because GigPig has an high Ikea-ish feeling. Still, nice little gadget.

I recently bought some Ikea furniture for secondary rooms in a vacation home. The furniture is a little too close in quality to the cardboard boxes it came in. Is this what you mean by "high Ikea-ish feeling"?

If not that, the design looks brilliant.

Where I've lived, only a singing drummer in a casino lounge act can get away with using a cocktail kit >:-} At least you can sit down and play like a real drummer with this thing. I have to admit that if it weren't for the cymbals, if you stood behind this on a street corner, it would look like you were selling ice cream.

I especially fear the kick beater contraption, looking very Ikea.
