While surfing Thomans site , i ve found an interresting product for Us , it s a 8 chanel DI box , with an onboard line line mixer and a headphone amp ....
It means that you can send 8 chanel "dry" to the FOH PA on balanced XLRs , and have your own mix for your monitor or headphone .... no need for fantom power , the box has is own built in transformer ....
there is a headphone out on the front pannel , and a stereo TRS out at the back of the rack ....
An Auxiliary stereo input is present , but without any volume control , enough for an ipod that has a volume control , or a micro mixer ...
Every input has an unbalanced jack link output , making easy connections to a recorder for example ...

I never had opportunity to test it , but this gear seems to be very versatile and usefull on many occasions , at home , and from small clubs stages to big venues ...
