I'm still intrigued by the lack of knowledge and expertise on drum-forum.nl, those guys have no clue about what is going on and only Roland is pushed over there. BTW, Animal has a dd4 (not in use).

Anyway, recovering from a heart attack and flu over that (very scary to have high fever with a low health / heart condition). Getting some energy back now.

Take it slow man. Your health is very important. Hope your recovery time is as short as possible and brings you back stronger than ever

Hello members,

Oke, now i post some pictures of my kit.  It's made from 2 kits with extra DIY  toms (rototoms & snare) and 2 extra crash (an old HiHat).
Also you see both kicks are stand alone with DIY stands. I also put some extra weight at the beaters for better response.
The 2e  2box HH i use for extra crash/china or percussion.
I hope the pictures are visible, it's my first time working with photobucket.

I finally got around to redoing my setup. I hadn't tweaked it since getting the kit, as I've been playing around with settings...recording etc. Much better now!

• Rewired everything cleanly
• Mounted my high-hat to the rack
• Did some tweaking of my kick pedal
• changed the positions of tom brackets from top to bottom
• Moved the module to right hand side of the kit
• Lowered the crossbars
• Second tom is acting as ride for now
