Although I am a 2box player I also use an Alesis Sample Pad as part of my kit so I can keep my 2box kits sounding like drums while adding loops, aditional sounds and sfx via the Alesis. I recentley upgraded to the Alesis Sample Pad pro and have produced a video comparing the features and benefits of the Pro compared to the original unit. It can be view on You Tube https://youtu.be/3LTYJc143CE (https://youtu.be/3LTYJc143CE)
Hope you find it useful

PS before you start shouting at me I know that I could use my 2box unit to add loops , sfx etc but that would mean me substituting drum sounds on the pads for these extra sounds and I don't wish to do that in most cases for the songs I am playing. I want both the great sounding drum kits PLUS the extra opportunity to have 8 additional pads with loops . sfx etc via the Alesis
Thank you for this video. Great work.
However, i am not impressed by the sound quality
Having heard the other Alesis instruments, i keep my fingers crossed for the Strike Pro
Hope we.re not disappointed
