No effect on the kit sounds
You can turn (make roll) one of the three buttons down the screen, but you can also click on them.
Here, you have to press on the middle button to display the values of the midi notes.

May I ask why dayawanna do that? If you just like the look of the MKII I understand it, but do u understand that eventually it doesn't represent a huge enhance in terms of audio?, some people claims better playability, but so far I'm happy with mine...and its light makes the kit to look awesome.
well mate i had serious trigger problems. no matter how hard i hit it, it wouldnt trigger. unless i had the curve in max2. i removed the small foam part, and is great now and much much quieter. when i removed the whole foam, it was not that great cause i had double triggering. (probably cause the sensor should be on the bottom part...). so i could leave it as is now, but with the middle foam removed, i can see the back light and it is ugly. i didnt pay so much money to have it ugly!!!
weird.....last time I checked....it was written on page 35 of the manual (for which, BTW I gave you the link above)
i didnt read the last pages of the manual. that was my mistake i am sorry. i didnt do that because they were for editing sounds and i am afraid to strat editing right away
This is done with the kit editor, this is the download link: http://www.2box.se/Pages/editor.html
And here is its user manual: http://www.2box.se/Downloads/Quickstart-editor-1.0.1.pdf
thanx i will check it. from what i guess i will remove an unwanted kit and add the other
You won't have a china sounding like a crash...you'll have a Crash, period. It's like you have a folder named Excel, in which you want to place your *.xlsx files, if by mistake you place a Doc *.docx file you won't end up by having a spreadsheet looking like a document, just simply have a Doc in a folder supposed to hold Excel files. What are the implications for this...virtually none, except that your organizing system failed and probably finding that Doc file will be a mess.
thanx mate
whatdaya mean? hot like you can't even touch it, or hot as another adapter (e.g. a computer charger)? - If the former, then I'd worry, if the latter..well it's normal
yes mate it was REALLY hot. i found it very strange. i will check this also tomorrow to see if it gets hot while i play or if it is hot all the time. at the moment i have it unplugged just for the sake of it
That depends on how hard beater you are, it's like on acoustic kits, some people destroy the heads quite easily, other ones don't have that problem. I have both Mapex beater and TDRUM protector, however, when I used just the mapex beater I didn't notice any wear out either.
good to know mate. thanx
As I told you before, it's not a problem; however, IMHO I think you should first sit down and READ the manual, then understand what is the instrument you have about. Once you have experienced and read (manual and other threads) and you don't find your question solved, start a new thread or similar. I personally understand your excitement about your new 2Box, but I really think you should take it easy, and first document yourself. For instance, most of the answer to your questions on this thread were / are in the manuals, for pete sake, they're not that long for not reading them, are they?
---N.B. Please don't get my comment wrong, I'd try to help you as much I my knowledge allows me, but please force yourself to find the answers beforehand. Probably it's professional deformation. As I'm a researcher, that's the path I follow for everything in my life.
