strange sound problem

i played a bit today and after a while , while i was hitting especially the kick, i heard some static distortion.id diescribe it as electrical hiss (if such term exists)
i could hear the kick sound, but it was a bit destorted and had also on top of it that hiss.
changed kit and still the same. closed the module, openned it , the same. i left it closed for a bit ,started again and it wasnt there.
it has happened to me once more.

perhaps the adapter got more hot? i dont know what it could be. i am still under warranty so no worries, but id like to ask if it has happened to anyone. if it gets worse i know what to do, but since for a long time now, 2box kit has been superb for me, i was a bit sad, lets say. any ideas would be welcome.if it happens again i will post it

Is the washing machine on the same electricity group?

Maybe check the serial number of the brain for a faulty SD-card....  If you are one of the lucky early like me contact the distributor for a new one.

I don't know if it's the same issue here, but it seems that the module sometimes creates distortions (in low sounds) when other devices work on the same electrical system.
I hear sometimes these distortions with my module.

i have the 2box (its a new version, no sd problem) on a line with a ups. a big one. on it i also have my pc and the tv. at the time i played, only the pc was on but i dont think this was the issue though. i will read the thread carefully and if it also happens again i will say. thank you

I had some distortion on top of the tom and kick samples when I was using a class 4 card. Changed to class 10 and it's now gone.

mine is not that issue. i talked with drummer 81 and sai it is 100% the adapter. i palyed for 2 hours today and didnt notice anything. the next time i notice something, i will buy an adapter and see what happens

output of the standard adaptor is not very common, it is 18 V AC, .56A (10VA).

as long as the replacement adaptor is 18 V AC, and at least 10VA, then it should work

drummer 81 told me to get 1A instead of the 0.56 it is the 2box adapter

will this make the adapter not get that hot? should i get more amber

since R=V/I bigger amber should do it but i ask someone expert, i am just a physcist not an electrician!!!
