attaching monitors to out1 and out2

Hi all,

I have been looking around for monitor connections to the module and i found several examples. My main questions are:

- are the monitors directly attached to the outs?
- am i correct in assuming that the output is mono?
- do you guys think that the monitor solution is a workable one or perhaps even a decent one?
