Is there a way to do this?
Use DsoundTool. There is a choice to split the dsnd. So any dsnd can be split into all the individual WAVs.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

The easiest way is to just change the extension (.dsnd) to .wav.  Simple as that.

You can change the extension and the multi-hit dsnd will play/function as a WAV, but for dsnds that have multiple zones they will all be in the same WAV, one after the other. For example a snare: The multiple hits for head are in the beginning and the Rimshot hits start after the head hits. DsoundTool will split the dsnds into the separate zones. No doubt multiple other programs can be used to separate, manipulate the WAV also, but DsoundTool was specifically designed for simple tasks like that.

I asked this awhile back, but it is really difficult to find the post i made on this sight. I don't know why they don't have a all the post i ever made on one page option.

Anyways yeah can i use this to separate a high hat into zones, so i can choose and pick the sounds i want. I need to have a hi hat closed sound, that i have on a cymbal pad.

Just click on your profile/summary and then click Show Posts.

As far as separating a HH into zones you can "Split" any .dsnd file into all the separate zone folders. You only need DsoundTool for that. And after you have the "Split" files .... you can rebuild a dsnd with just the closed sounds if you like using either DsoundTool or the 2Box Editor.
