I just got a drumit 5 mkii so I'm still trying to get it configured. The hihat is pretty much the last thing.
When I go from open to close, that first beat gets an open sound that just naturally decays. I would think a the the closed position would stop it but it doesn't. If it helps I can record what I'm talking about later tonight.
