Yes but with the hihat closed it triggers open control.

I can't get the hihat to work right with Abbey road 60 drummer.
Can somebody help me ?

I checked that but it's still the same, Thomann asked me today to send back the hihat and the module.

Just received my hihat pad from Thomann (they changed the rubber). I putted it on the stand, calibrated it and after a few minutes of playing it started to be crazy: random opened sounds while I had the pedal in down position, multiple sounds with just one hit ...

I sent it back to Thomann and just receive it today. So .... it's exactly the same f...ing thing, it still doesn't work.

Some idea ?

In AD 1.5.1 there's a mapping for the 2box I think, it's the version I use.

Finally I had a reply from Thomann, they can ship 14 inch protection rim but you have to pay for it.
I think i am gonna take 3 of them : one for each cymbals.

I send an email to Thomann two days ago about the rim protection but I have no answer for the moment.

wow please tell me more about drumtech design. 2ply mesh heads are supposed to be noisier. is it much more noisy or just a bit more? i mean i get complains only when i hit cymbals from my mom.(and now that i use the falam as well) i mean if i use it , still it will be ok, just a tiny bit more noisy or it is gonna be a problem? also how about the rebound? thanx for the response

It's noisier than single ply but less than cymbals I think. As EDTC said the sound is treblier in comparaison with single ply.

I have just replace my kick drum head because of a crack in it for a drumtec design and it's a little noisier than the stock 2box mesh head. I think I'm gonna buy a patch too to prevent another crack.

My hihat cymbal is on the way to Thomann as it is under warranty.

Edit: it's been repaired, I received it this morning.

I don't know if I am a hard hitter but I noticed today that my hihat rubber pad have some craks on the edge 

You have to turn the power on, and press the top left DATA button above the display to start in USB mode.

I've got my module back today with a new SD card 

and France!
