I'm using my 2box through a Yamaha DXR15 and I'm finding the bell to be inaudible. If I crank the gain for the unit (as in the H from the <gain value>@L/M/H settings e.g. 8@H) it's better but the edge sound is too loud. Any tips on how to get the bell sound louder in isolation, preferably across all kits?

There's unnatural muting of sounds when closing the hi-hats slowly. It's a bit noticeable at speed too though. Essentially any sustain is stopped dead, very electronic. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Absolute beginner with 2box here, sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

I'm thinking of getting a Drumit 5 MK2 with the aim being to get a JoBeky kit with the most realistic drum kits I can get on a module short of stumping up for a Mimic. Thing is I've never used a VST before. What's the easiest route to getting what I want? Pre-made kits I can buy? Get a VST and do it myself? If the latter, EZDrummer, Superior Drummer, or something else?
