I think he is just wanting to learn how to set it up to trigger it, not load the samples in the module.  Perhaps the OP could eleborate on his troubles.  It is easy enough to use the learn function in BFD2 to map the MIDI in BFD2 to the module.

the trick with the hi-hat is to set it up Roland TD-20 style, where the pedal height is a continuous controller.

the default configuration of the 2 Box module is to send the pedal height only briefly around the time when you hit the hi-hat. if you can't get the hi-hat to trigger well, you can set the module to send the pedal height message whenever the pedal height changes (these are the settings with the '!' mark after them). this results in a bit of extra MIDI data, however it improves the response of fast hihat open/close playing.

Thanks for that
Just another question , this is triggering bfd2, first of all I tried that idea with ! Beside the CC1/4 and
Has made a good difference , the other thing is when I play the snare it plays
Really well very dynamic feel picks up the lightest of hits and the toms
are good as well , BUT! When I hit the cymbals on the edge lightly I can see my
Midi interface Lighting up as i hit the cymbal but no sound untill I hit the cymbal a
Good bit harder this goes for the hihat as well , unlike the snare when its tapped lightly
The midi light flickers when struck and snare sounds are present with every hit
Don't under stand what's going on , surely if you tap the cymbal and the midi light
Flickers should that not make a sound

Thanks everyone who has replied and helping out

if MIDI messages are being sent, and you are sure that you have mapped the MIDI notes correctly, then maybe your velocity settings in BFD2 need tweaking.

btw, when debugging MIDI stuff, it's very handy to use a MIDI monitoring program so that you can see exactly what messages are being transmitted. good free options include:
