Yet another hihat question

Hi, I calibrated my hihat, and it was working perfectly until today, now the calibration is all wonky.

So I went to recalibrate (Unit > pref) it and all I have is a dash under my hihat (which the manual says it means that it is not connected) but it is still making noise and it was the cable which came with the system, so it will be the right one. We also tried other cables.

I put in a fresh Drumit.dkit and still the same problem and I have no calibrated hihat. Now all I get is the open sound and I can't close it.

I am concerned now, My hihat is busted and I can't play

is there really no solution for this. Who do I contact to find a solution? I want to be able t play again

Personally I wd open up the pad itself to check the connections.

I think one channel gives the strike and the other channel gives the info as to position
and so on.  It sounds like the "info channel" might have a bad connection.

Perhaps somebody more technically minded than me cd confirm this?

Well, I'd look inside too.... here is the jack inside:


Under that it connects to the pad/piezo:

could be a wire has come loose and needs to be resoldered.
If you are concerned about warranty, send it in.... J
