i don't have learned the right way to use double bass pedals. So i don't have the experience to find the right pedals for me. Is it possible to use the hihat for the time being?

I do that
Just assign a bass drum sound to the hh and go ...

If you're seriously considering start playing double bass, and eventually blasters. You'll have to buy a proper double-pedal. I mean, even with some cheap pedal (and some not that cheap) you feel the uneven feeling, how would be with the HH pedal (BTW, do you have another HH stand or the cheap one, which comes with the kit?).

Another thing, I doubt that you might achieve a good toe-heel technique with the HH pedal. Therefore, my advice is that if you can afford a good pedal (~300 USD) you better get it, otherwise you better stick to one pedal (which I hope you've replaced already). Just my 2 cents.

Fully agree
But if you don't play so much double and want to use it as an effect ...
