Use more hardware than inputs avalible?

hi,

i wondered if its possible to use a 4th cymbal? let say i use a Y- stereo cable, which goes from one output to 2 cymbals?

will this somehow work?

I dont't know if this works with an cymbal input because of the positional sensing (bell, bow, edge). But i use two mono-cymbals as splash an china with a Y-cable at the Tom4 input.  And the third cymbal input is waiting for a third 2Box-Cymbal.
