I posted a video to YouTube with some of the dsnd kits I built from Drumasonic, BFD3 and a few of the new 2Box kits. http://youtu.be/CddZ28W-RH4

Thnx for the vid! I like the Red Sparkle kit and love the Tama Warlord kit for some Rock stuff but didn't like the ringy snare from that kit.

Those DW kits were really nice at the end too, that DW last one for Rock stuff would be great! The toms sound so nice on the 2box. That's been my number one complaint missing from the Roland Td30. Their toms lack big time. I like the new TD30 snares and cymbals and so forth but they need major work on toms.

Yeah I know what you mean about the ringy snare . I would change that for a different one if I used that kit. I mainly use my custom VST kits, but there are several nice stock 2Box kits and toms.

Excellent. It's great to hear the new 2box kits (and other kits) in action.

Thanks!

That last DW kit is a little "special". I really like the new BFD3 and there are lots of new presets to try out. All the BFD3 kits on the demo except for that one were just default kits IE: just open the program, pick a kit from the drop down list, make a few adjustments and start building for the Drumit Five. But the last DW Mardi Gras Heavy Rock kit was built using one of the presets I had put together in BFD2. It was the preset I used on my BFD2 Vistalite Heavy Rock kit.

I tried the Hard Rock preset from BFD3 but ended up preferring that Heavy Rock preset I put together earlier. That is one of the beauties of building using these VST programs ..... both those Mardi Gras kits were built using the same drums, but the options are endless. These VST programs are like having a Studio in a box. So with a little practice you can build some pretty nice varieties for the 2Box module.

I had a comment on Youtube about the kicks sounding strange, and it got me to thinking because those kicks do sound much fuller normally I thought ..... Turns out the Low Cut button was activated on the kick channel of my mixer I run the 2 modules into .... so fortunately for me those kicks sound much fuller than that. Unfortunately the video doesn't give them much justice. Isn't that ironic ... out of all the buttons that could be accidentally pushed, the Low Cut on the Kick drum, that sucks  :-[ J

It's always a pleasure to watch your demos on this dream kit... Looking at your videos was a big motivation to add custom sounds on my DrumIt Five.

Thanks to my friends Daniel and Lustar for the kind remarks.  8) J

JMan ... Great demo.  Love the sound of all the kits.  And I guess I'm an odd ball because I think the ringy snare sounds awesome. If you we're playing with other musicians that ring is what cuts through the sound.  Hats off to you.

Thanks Jman for your efforts, some nice kits there but also good to see/hear that the 2Box stock sounds stand out very well :)

Yes, the 2Box drums are real recorded drums with quite a few nice kits.
